Clever Uses for iPad Screenshots

Taking a screenshot of an iPad screen is easy. And, there are clever uses for screenshots, too.

You can take a screenshot of practically anything that displays on the iPad's screen. While pressing the power button (at the top right edge of the iPad), press the Home button. The screen will flash and you'll hear a click (like the sound of a camera taking a picture). View your screenshot using the Photos app. It will be in the Camera Roll.

And now, the clever uses for screenshots.

iPad Wallpaper
While playing a movie or TV show in the Videos app, snap a screenshot and use it as iPad wallpaper.

Email Map and Directions
Friends meeting you at someplace new? Pull up a map and directions in the Maps app. Screenshot and send it to your friends.

Troubleshooting
When you receive an alert or error message in an app, take a screenshot. Support people (and Apple Geniuses) appreciate it when you can show them the problem.

Game Boasting
Share your mighty gaming prowess with friends. Snap a high score. Show-off your progress in an RPG. Email a picture of the cool starship you have in a game.

Offline Web Page Reading
When you know you're going to be someplace where there isn't Internet access - in a plane, at a trade show, or at a camp site - screenshot web page articles to read and reference offline.

Clever! If you guys want an App that does selective region capture of a webpage and also allows you to annotate the captured image, you can use CheckItOut HD. http://www.wiremuch.com/checkitout
