Create PDFs In Any Application

Have you ever sent a Microsoft Word document to someone only to find that they have any older version of Word that can't open your newer version doc?

Or, maybe you've created a presentation in Keynote, but the person you're trying to send the presentation to doesn't have Keynote to open it.

There is a way to send documents with great certainly your recipient will be able to open and view them, thanks to PDF (Adobe's Poratable Document Format). PDF files can be opened and viewed on practically every computer - Mac or PC.

Every Mac OS X application that is capable of printing can create a PDF file.

  1. Open your document
  2. Select "Print..." from the file menu
  3. At the bottom-left of the Print window, click the PDF drop-down menu and select "Save as PDF..." (picture at right)
  4. Name and save it
  5. You now have a PDF version of your document!

Confidently create documents in any application you wish. You'll be able to share them with anyone as PDFs.
