Fast Way to Create a New Address Book Contact from Apple Mail
When you have a phone number in an email and want to add it to Address Book, you don't have to launch Address Book to do it.
In Apple Mail, click on the phone number in the email message. Then, click on the little triangle and choose "Created New Contact...".
An Address Book entry card is displayed, with the name, phone number and email fields entered for you. Enter any other information you'd like. Then, click "Add to Address Book."
Similarly, you can click an address in an email message to create an Address Book contact entry.
