Focus As You Shoot Video on iPhone

Having an iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 in your pocket means you have a handy video camera wherever you go, too.

Shoot Video
Launch the Camera app on your iPhone. Tap the switch in the bottom-right corner of the screen to switch to video recording mode. Then, tap the button the center button. The little red light in the button will begin to blink telling you that you are now recording what you see on the iPhone's screen.

Focus Video
With iOS 4 on your iPhone, you can focus while you shoot video. As you are recording, tap the screen. You'll see a square appear briefly. Your iPhone will focus on whatever is in the square.
