How To Change the Icon Bar in the iPhone's iPod App

The iPhone iPod app has an icon bar at the bottom of the screen that let's you easily access and view playlists, podcasts and videos on your phone. You can quickly view your music sorted by artist, too.

By the default, the icons are: Playlists, Artists, Songs, Videos, and More. You can change any of them to view and access your music and other iPod content in other ways.

How to Change the iPod Icons
Launch the iPod app on your iPhone. Tap the "More" icon and then tap on the Edit button (in the upper left corner of the screen).

You'll see icons that will sort and list your music and other media files on your iPhone in different ways: Albums, Audiobooks, Compilations, Composers, Genius, Genres, iTunes U and Songs, in addition to Playlists, Artists, Podcasts and Videos.

Tap and hold your finger on the icon you want to use. Drag it over the icon you want to replace and then lift your finger.You'll see the new icon in the icon bar.

You can replace any or all the icons in the icon bar, except for More. Tap Done to exit.
