Sleep Your Mac After a Movie, Automatically

If you watch DVD movies on your Mac before bed, you'll really like this tip.

If you think you're going to fall asleep during the movie. Or, you just don't want to get out of bed to shutdown your Mac. The DVD Player application gives you a way to sleep or shutdown your Mac automatically after the movie is over.

Launch DVD Player (with a DVD movie in your Mac). From the Control menu, mouse down to "Timer", and select "Set Timer...". The "Timer Setting" window pane will open. Click the "at the end of the current title" radio button. Then, in the Action pop-up menu, choose Sleep or Shutdown.

When your DVD movie has ended, your Mac will go to sleep or shutdown, as you had chosen.
