Typing CAPS on iPhone

If you type lots of abbreviations or words with lots of capital letters, you can turn on the Caps Lock setting to make it easier to type them.

Open the Settings app and tap General. Then, scroll down and tap Keyboard to open it's settings. Next, Tap the switch for Enable Caps Lock to change it to the ON position.

With this setting on, the Shift key on the keyboard will have an additional caps lock state.

Tap the Shift key once (like you normally would) to type a single upper-case letter. Double-tap the Shift key to enter caps lock mode. Every letter you type will be upper-cased until you tap the Shift key to exit caps lock mode.
