Undo on iPhone

To use Undo on an iPhone requires one of the more unnatural things to do with your iPhone. Still, when you accidentally delete text in a note or document, you'll be glad you can undo.

To undo the last edit, whether it was deleting or adding some text, shake your iPhone. An Undo Typing button will appear. Tap it to Undo the edit. (Please take care when you shake your iPhone. Don't drop it!)

If you change your mind and wish to redo what you undid, shake you iPhone again. A Redo Typing button will appear. Tap it to apply the last edit again.

Shaking to Undo also works on iPad and iPod touch.
